    Meet 6/11 @ Evendale

    Hello All,

Yesterday was a great first meet! Tomorrow, we head to Evendale for our first away meet of the season. We have quite a few families traveling this week, so our team may look a little smaller than it did yesterday..but no less mighty.

    Tomorrow's Meet Information

    • Warmups begin at 6:00 PM
    • Meet starts at 6:30 PM

A little league history for our newer families: our league consists of 8 teams, 4 Small Teams and 4 Large Teams.

    Small Team Division

    • Norwood
    • St. Bernard
    • Greenhills
    • Springdale

    Large Team Division

    • Evendale
    • Wyoming
    • Blue Ash
    • Sharonville

Last night, we faced Sharonville, one of the Large Team Division teams. Tomorrow, we'll take on another Large Team Division opponent in Evendale.

The final score from last night's meet was:

    Sharonville: 366
    Norwood: 294

If that sounds like a big margin, remember that swim meet scores can get very high! In reality, that's a competitive result considering Sharonville swam with roughly 25 more swimmers than we did. We competed well and put ourselves in position to have a great season.

If your swimmer has not participated in a meet yet this season, I would encourage you to consider signing them up. I've been very hands-on with our newer swimmers during practice, and I think many of them are ready to give competition a try. Swim meets are a great way to build confidence, gain experience, and become part of the team atmosphere. If you'd like to discuss whether your swimmer is ready, please don't hesitate to reach out I am always happy to help.

If you forgot to enter your swimmer for tomorrow's meet, please let me know as soon as possible and I will get them added.

Looking forward to another great night of racing!

    Thanks,

    Coach Alex
